App and Website Instructions

The new website and Game Changer app provided by Dick's Sports Team Headquarters has many functions that will make team communications and keeping track of events in the calendar a snap. There are some key steps to take to make sure you are getting the most out of the new system and all of it's features. There is a link below to a full manual of all of it's features, but here are a few common questions and answers. 

To Download and Install the App
You can find the Dick's Sports Team Headquarters app on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.  If you are on your mobile device and click this link you can select App Store or Google Play (on the right) and it will redirect you to the download page.

Enabling a Second Email Address

In order to enable a second email address to receive practice and game reminders and updates sent by the coaches from their app, please follow these steps.

  1. Login to and click "My Account" on the top right of the screen
  2. Click the settings (gear) icon on the top right of the screen
  3. Scroll down and click "Add Secondary Account Holder"
  4. Fill in the info and click "Create Additional Account User and Continue"
  5. The new account holder will receive and invitation to create their own login account and now will be tied with any updates associated with that account.

Using the App and Website

To log in to the app use the username and password that you use at  Once in the app, you will be able to access team rosters, schedules, coach comments, and much more.  You can also access this information from the team home page.  Follow these steps to find your team home page and then remember to bookmark it for easy access.

  1. Go to
  2. Go to Team Central and click Team Directory
  3. Scroll down and find your team and select Team Home
  4. Bookmark the page that comes up
  5. Use this page to view calendars, rosters, scores, creating events, starting discussions, etc. 

To Update Team from the App
Team Volunteers can help communicate with the team using the app and team home page. If you plan on using the app to communicate with the team, please remember to use the Discussion feature not the Message Team  feature.  If you use the Discussion button, all primary and secondary account holders will be notified by email. The Message Team function will only text or email the main number/email address on the account. Both of these functions are meant as an easy way to update the team on cancellations, changes, weather delays, etc.  Please note that parents do not need to be using the app to receive these updates, they will be sent via email. To use the Discussion feature on the app to send email updates to the entire team, follow these steps. 

  1. open the app and then hit the menu button in the top left
  2. click discussions
  3. click the "+" in the top right to create a new one
  4. enter a subject and your message and hit submit
