Bend North Little League encourages players to stay within their division.

Play down:  If you would like your son or daughter to play down, you must first register them in the division according to their age. You may then request a division move after registration by emailing [email protected].  Please explain why you are requesting the move.  

Play up:  If you would like your son or daughter to play up, you must first register them in the division according to their age. You may then request a division move after registration by emailing [email protected].  Please explain why you are requesting the move.  Players will then be evaluated at the skills assessment and offered a spot in the upper division if appropriate.  The determination will be made by a 3-person, player agent committee.

Little League International has mandated a new birthday cutoff for players that must be implemented by 2018.  For this reason there could be a scenario in which a child may want to play down a division.  Please be aware that this will make you ineligible for All Star play in 2017.  Also it is important to note that in 2018, your son or daughter will need to remain in the division determined by age in order to properly to comply with Little League Rules.
